Our Vision is to make coastal communities, beaches, and aquatic sports fully accessible to people with disabilities (PwD), ensuring everyone can live independently enjoying the freedom and benefits of the water.

Our Program

As a 501(c)(3) organnization the Accessible Sea & Aquatics Project (ASAP) is committed to ensuring that beaches and associated essential services are accessible to individuals with disabilities, thereby enabling them to enjoy the therapeutic and recreational advantages of the sea and coastal communities. By addressing accessibility challenges, we aim to foster inclusion, empowerment, and well-being for individuals often excluded from these experiences. Our approach includes:

1.  Collaborating with Coastal Communities and Private Sector Stakeholders to remove of physical barriers and enhance infrastructure to ensure seamless access to essential services and the beach for PwD.

2.  Advocacy and Empowerment to champion the rights of people with disabilities, ensuring they have full access to essential services and beaches with dignity and respect.

3.  Provide Specialized Aquatic Sports Services focused on adaptive diving, that caters to the specific needs of individuals with disabilities to support health, well-being, and achievement.

Supporting ASAP Means Supporting a Stronger, More Inclusive Community

People with disabilties often face exclusion from basic rights and services that others take for granted. Many countries lacks sufficient laws and infrastructure to ensure that its public spaces, including beaches, are accessible to all. PwD are often left behind, unable to enjoy the same privileges and experiences that others do. However, communities with expansive coastline presents an incredible opportunity to change this, and that is where the Accessible Sea and Aquatics Project (ASAP) comes in.

Invest in Your Community

By investing in ASAP, you are not just supporting an initiative—you’re becoming a catalyst for transformative change. Your contribution will help remove barriers, provide life-changing experiences, and uplift the lives of individuals with disabilities.
